SBI Clerk Admit Card 2019:
SBI Clerk Exam Pattern: If you are planning to apply for SBI Clerk, you must aware of the exam pattern. There will be 2 phase of SBI Clerk Exam Pattern.
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
The candidates who will qualify the SBI Clerk preliminary exam will be eligible for SBI Clerk Mains exam. Let’s discuss the exam pattern.
In both, the exams objective type question will be asked. There will be negative marking in both the exams, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Quantitative Aptitude and reasoning ability papers syllabus will be same in both the exams.
In SBI Clerk mains exam General/Financial awareness paper will be additionally tested. A language test will be conducted before the mains exam, in order to check local language proficiency of the candidate. SBI Clerk Preliminary and mains exams are a computer-based exam.
SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam pattern:
Papers of SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam:
- English Language- 30 Questions & 30 Marks (Time Duration- 20 Minutes)
- Numeric Ability- 35 Question & 35 Marks (Time Duration- 20 Minutes)
- Reasoning Ability- 35 Questions & 35 Marks (Time duration- 20 Minutes)
Note: Total number Questions- 100 & Total Marks- 100, The total time duration of the exam will be 60 minutes. There will be negative marking of .25 marks on every wrong question. The candidates must attempt all the papers in the same order of papers in allotted time fixed by examination body. The candidates can’t exit paper before the time allotted. The next paper can be attempted after the current paper is completed.
SBI Clerk Mains Exam pattern:
Papers of SBI Mains Exam:
- General English- 40 Questions & 40 Marks (Time Duration – 35 Minutes)
- General/ Financial Awareness- 50 Questions & 50 Marks (Time Duration- 35 Minutes)
- Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Questions & 50 Marks (Time Duration- 45 Minutes)
- Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude- 50 Questions & 60 Marks (Time Duration- 45 Minutes)
Note: Total number of questions- 190 & Total Marks- 200, The total time duration of the exam will be 2 hours 40 minutes. There will be negative marking of .25 marks on every wrong question.
Final marks calculation for SBI Clerk Exam: Marks Scored in the preliminary exam will not be considered in the final score. The marks will be only added into account to qualify mains exam. The aggregate of 100 marks will be used for the final merit list for each category. The candidates will be selected with high merit rank.
